Global Head of Strategic Partnerships & Startup Ecosystems, IBM
Named by Forbes 30 Under 30 in Tech, Crain's Business 40 Under 40, and LinkedIn's Next Wave as a Top Professional Under 35, Lexie Komisar is the Global Head of Strategic Partnerships & Startup Ecosystems at IBM. In this capacity, she leads a team that brings IBM's emerging technology to startups, developers, and builders through new products, strategic partnerships and digital platforms across the world. She previously served as the founding team member at IBM's first Digital Innovation Lab, which incubated new digital businesses integrating artificial intelligence.
Prior to joining IBM, Lexie served as associate director at the Clinton Foundation, where she created the Foundation’s first program focused exclusively on leveraging technology and innovation for social change. She graduated with honors from Northwestern University and served as a Fulbright Fellow in Mexico City.
Lexie is passionate about driving diversity and inclusion across industries. She co-leads the Women@IBM New York group, co-founded The LadyBoss Collective, and serves on the Board of Advisors for Parsons' Open Style Lab, a nonprofit in partnership with Parsons School of Design and MIT.
